A lot of times I work on teams and I don't want to take credit for things I haven't built completely, also a lot of my work is "white label" (meaning the agency gets the portfolio piece, not me) and under strict non-disclosure agreements. Why Accessibility-First Web Development is Important

First, it's the right thing to do: the web should be accessible to everyone. Second, it's a responsibility to my clients. Accessibility problems are cheap and easy to prevent while a site is being built, more difficult and expensive to remediate later, and they can be catastrophic to a business if a demand letter is filed. I take accessibility seriously and hold a CPACC credential from IAAP.
